Lupin is a, 'Herbaceous Perennial' that means that they survive year after year, coming back each spring. In the fall, after a frost, they die back to the ground, and in the spring they grow again from the roots.

Maintenance: Leave them in the fall, wait until they are super dead, before cutting them back. You can even leave them until spring before you cut them back.

Where to plant in your yard? Make sure it gets some sunlight, anywhere except for the North side.

Zone 3, so its definitely hardy for our area.
